Know My Vidyalaya

    Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3, AFS Bhisiana, Bathinda is a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, one of the major institute of education which is situated near by Bathinda. This Vidyalaya Established in the year 1981 and spread over in 15 acres of vast land. The Vidyalaya is affiliated to C.B.S.E. and run by an autonomous body Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan monitored by Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt. of India. 
      The school has 24 classrooms, apart from other activity rooms Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, Music Room, Library, and Activity Rooms separate for Primary & Secondary Section students. The Vidyalaya has a vast playground which has football, Badminton, Basketball and volleyball facilities. Vidyalaya is renowned for CCA Activities, Sports events and various other competitions. 


Mission of the Vidyalaya

 The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission, viz.,

1.To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education ;

2.To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education;

3.To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and

4.To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children.
